This Best Book Ever Written

The best book ever written, is not on paper but instead it’s the life you live because when among others you are read you daily. – Pedro Moore

Last summer I visited one of my aunts in North Carolina and told her about some of my business ideas, one of them including writing a book about entrepreneurship.  She told me, that the best way to teach someone about entrepreneurship is allowing them to see you do it first hand.  That statement stuck with me and help me pivot my direction.

Several months later I recieved a relevation from reading on Our Daily Bread, a post titled An Open Book, conveying the same message that my aunt advised me, that it is better to teach someone through the way you live your life versus trying to write a book telling them how to do.  The scripture used in the post was 2 Corinthians 3:3 – “You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”

In my life I have heard many Christians confess they want to write a book, including myself.  Sometimes, I think we get to caught up in writing a book and forget that we are a book, read daily by many.  People, Christians and Non-Christians study you daily, looking for an opportunity to judge or a reason to justify their lack of interest in Jesus Christ.  So, it is important that consider ourselves as a book that is read daily, so we can teach others how to be a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ.

Remember, you are the best book ever written.
